Kent County Council are now recruiting for a Counter Fraud Technician to join their Internal Audit and Counter Fraud Team.
Applicants should be self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and also have a positive approach and willingness to contribute towards Kent County Councils reputation for providing respected work. They also require good IT and data analytical skills and should be educated to “A” Level standard or equivalent including 5 GCSEs (A-C/4 - 9) including Mathematics and English Language (or equivalent).
Applicants will also need experience of completing investigations at a civil and criminal standard or working within an audit/ compliance field, meeting multiple deadlines and managing your own workload, as well as interpreting and understanding complex guidance and data sets. You will also have an awareness of how Local Government at a County and District/ Borough Council Level works and how the wider public sector operate as well as the role of Internal Audit and Counter Fraud.
