Brent Council are currently recruiting for a Counter Fraud Officer to join their team.
The candidate should be a self-motivated, highly skilled team player with excellent verbal and written skills, and have the ability to liaise effectively across the Council and with external agencies, and have a commitment to protecting the public purse.
The ideal candidate will effectively use their transferable skills, experience, and knowledge from similarly complex environments to enhance the team in achieving its objectives. This includes managing a varied caseload, conflicting priorities and stakeholder engagement to an exemplary standard and minimal supervision.
An accredited investigation qualification or equivalent will be required, and the successful candidate will also demonstrate an appetite and commitment to continued professional development within an investigation capacity.
